About Us
Orxivar is an educational project focused on 3D visual design, spatial composition, form, materials, lighting, and the development of connected scenes. We create digital courses and practical materials for people who want to better understand three-dimensional design principles and the reasoning behind visual decisions.
Orxivar materials present 3D design as an interaction between several elements. Form, scale, viewpoint, space, surfaces, and light affect one another, so the courses examine them as parts of one connected working process.
The idea for Orxivar grew from the experience of its course author, Oleg Arinenko. While studying 3D visual design, he noticed that many learning resources explained individual subjects but did not always show how to combine them within one composition.
A learner may understand geometric forms, materials, or lighting separately, yet additional questions appear when building a complete scene. Which object should receive the main emphasis? How should visual weight be distributed? Which viewpoint communicates the idea more effectively? Which details should remain, and which ones should be removed?
To organize this process, Oleg began dividing scene development into separate stages. He first examined the primary forms, scale, and silhouette. He then reviewed spatial layers, object placement, material zones, and lighting direction. This approach became the foundation of the Orxivar materials.
The mission of Orxivar is to create materials that support thoughtful study of 3D visual design. We focus on observation, comparison, and understanding the reasons behind each design decision.
The courses are not limited to one visual style. Instead of reproducing one finished scene, learners work with form, composition, scale, surfaces, and lighting to better recognize the relationships between individual elements.
The materials can be downloaded to a compatible device and reviewed offline at a personal pace. Each learner can decide how long to spend on a module and how much time to reserve for the exercises.
Oleg Arinenko is the author of the Orxivar learning materials and works with topics related to 3D visual design, composition, and digital scene development. His areas of interest include geometric forms, spatial relationships, material surfaces, lighting, and the creation of connected image series.
His approach begins with simple forms. Cubes, spheres, cylinders, and planes provide a useful way to examine scale, proportion, silhouette, and lighting direction without unnecessary visual complexity. After the main structure has been reviewed, materials, color, and detail are introduced gradually.
Oleg also pays close attention to composition analysis. While developing a scene, he compares several viewpoints, reviews the spacing between objects, studies the distribution of light and dark areas, and evaluates the amount of negative space. This process helps identify which elements support the central idea and which ones distract from it.
The learning materials are based on this working approach. They contain thematic modules, written explanations, visual examples, exercises, and final assignments. Each section focuses on an individual subject while showing how it connects to the complete composition.
About the Orxivar Courses
The Orxivar collection covers several areas of 3D visual design. Introductory materials examine form, volume, scale, balance, and negative space. Later courses explore rhythm, repetition, framing, perspective, surfaces, and lighting.
Selected programs focus on modular structures, the sequence of design decisions, and the development of series containing several connected scenes. In these materials, learners examine how to maintain a shared language of forms, colors, surfaces, and lighting across different frames.
Each course has its own module list and assignments. Before placing an order, visitors can review the curriculum, file format, and subjects included in the materials.
Orxivar does not establish one fixed pace or one working method for every learner. The materials are designed for independent study and can be used according to a personal schedule.
We aim to explain not only what action to take but also why a particular decision is used. This approach presents a 3D scene as a connected system in which form, space, materials, and lighting contribute to the overall composition.
